An end and a beginning - two mints in one!

My last day of full time work at Pen Bay is this Thursday. I am leaving with a bit of sadness at the way some of it ended and the people I will be leaving and also with excitement for what lies ahead.

Speaking of what is lying ahead…With the Portland Picnic (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/event.php?eid=143617055662478) coming up on the 28th, I have pushed myself into full production mode.

This is a sample of what I got accomplished over the weekend…and this (there is much more now) is what is to be fired over the week.

With finding out that Atticus has walking pneumonia - it has been exhausting around here, needless to say (aside from the sick kiddo) it feels so good to be DOING. I think I am my best when I am making stuff. I’ve also started baking and cooking a bit more again…which is a good thing - tho, not for having my pants fit.

Another exciting bit of news - I just put my application in for the December Bazaar Bizarre in Boston. A kick ass indie craft show http://www.bazaarbizarre.org/boston.html Wish me luck - it’s a juried fair and they are only taking 80 vendors. If I make it…I’m hoping a few folks can come along to help :)

All in all…exciting and stressful and sad (and did I say stressful?) week.
