In a world of whispers, promises fly

Words like petals, drifting by

Yet beneath the surface, truth lies bare

For words alone cannot repair

Sweet nothings, they dance on the breeze

Yet actions, dear, are what truly please

To walk the walk, to stand and show

Is the path where true intentions grow

Empty phrases, they glitter and gleam

But without deeds, they're just a dream

For in the silence of what’s unsaid

Lies the truth, the path to tread

Mistakes, they happen, as they do

But owning them is the honest view

To apologize, to mend the tear

Shows a heart that truly cares

Yet if one refuses to make amends

To bridge the gap, to heal, to tend

Then know, dear heart, it’s time to part

For you deserve a brand new start

Walk away from hollow vows

Seek the truth that life allows

For actions speak, they tell the tale

Of who will stand and who will fail

You deserve a love that’s true

Where words and actions both renew

A life where promises are kept

And in their warmth, your heart has leapt

So, let the empty words just fade

Seek the light in deeds displayed

For in the end, it’s clear to see

Actions speak, and set you free
