Lost in the Wilderness of My Mind
Wandering through the fog, no path in sight
A compass spinning wildly, day turns to night
The stars above, they whisper tales untold
Yet here I stand, in shadows, feeling cold
The echoes of dreams once vivid and bright
Now fade into whispers, lost in the night
A heart once full of purpose, now adrift
Seeking solace, a sign, a gentle lift
The roads diverge, yet none call my name
Each step I take feels just the same
The horizon blurs, a canvas undefined
In this vast expanse, I search to find
The winds of change, they howl and moan
Yet here I stand, feeling so alone
The world spins on, a dance of time
Yet I remain, lost in my own rhyme
The trees sway gently, their leaves a guide
But I walk in circles, with no one by my side
The river flows, a melody so sweet
Yet I stumble, unsure on my feet
The sun rises, painting skies anew
Yet my heart aches, longing for a clue
The dawn breaks, a promise of light
Yet I remain, lost in the night
The mountains stand tall, a beacon of hope
Yet I climb in vain, unable to cope
The valleys whisper secrets of old
Yet I wander, feeling the cold
The journey is long, the road unclear
Yet I press on, despite the fear
For in this maze, I seek to find
The path that leads to peace of mind
In the silence, I hear a gentle call
A voice within, urging me to stand tall
For though I wander, lost and alone
The journey itself is where I am grown
So, I embrace the unknown, with open heart
For in this journey, I find my start
Though lost I may be, I am not alone
For in this wilderness, I find my home
