Peace in the Pause
In the rush of days that swiftly pass
We often forget to let moments amass
Running from feelings, we hide in haste
Missing the beauty that life has placed
In the quiet, there's a gentle call
A whisper urging us to stall
To tend to the heart, to mend the soul
To find the pieces that make us whole
The world spins fast, a dizzying race
Yet in stillness, we find our grace
To process the thoughts we often shun
To face the emotions we try to outrun
In the silence, truths softly unfold
Lessons of life, both new and old
Feelings that linger, waiting to heal
Teaching us strength, teaching us real
We cannot escape what lies within
The journey to self must begin
To learn from the pain, to grow from the strife
To embrace the fullness of our life
Slow down, dear heart, take a breath
In the pause, find life's depth
For in the quiet, we truly see
The path to who we're meant to be
Let go of the rush, the endless chase
Find solace in your own pace
For in the stillness, we find our way
To live fully, each and every day
Embrace the pause, let it be
A time to nurture, a time to see
That in the slowing, we find our truth
A timeless lesson, a fountain of youth
So tend to yourself, with gentle care
Feel the emotions, let them air
For in the process, we find our light
Guiding us through the darkest night
Slow down, it's time to tend to you
To process, to feel, to learn anew
For in the journey, we find our song
A melody that carries us along
