Silent Struggles
In the quiet corners of your mind
Where shadows and whispers intertwine
A heavy weight, a silent plea
Is it depression, or burnout's decree?
Days blend into nights, a seamless blur
The spark within begins to deter
Is it the soul's deep, aching sigh
Or the body's cry, running dry?
The heart feels heavy, a constant ache
Yet tasks pile up, no break to take
Is it the mind's plea for rest
Or the spirit's quest, feeling oppressed?
The joy once found in simple things
Now lost, like birds with broken wings
Is it the heart's silent despair
Or the mind's burden, too much to bear?
Apathy creeps in, a silent thief
Stealing moments, sowing grief
Is it the soul's quiet retreat
Or the body's cry, feeling defeat?
The world feels distant, a muted hue
Once vibrant dreams now out of view
Is it the heart's silent plea
Or the mind's fatigue, yearning to be free?
In the dance of shadows, the lines blur
Between the heart's ache and the mind's stir
Is it depression's deep, endless night
Or burnout's flame, flickering light?
Listen closely, to the whispers within
For in their depths, answers begin
Is it the soul's cry for healing grace
Or the body's need for a slower pace?
In the quiet moments, find your way
To discern the night from the day
For in understanding, you'll find the key
To set your spirit and mind free
