Strength in Kindness
In a world that often shouts and screams
Where harshness flows like endless streams
There lies a power, soft yet bold
A strength in kindness, pure as gold
To choose compassion, to choose to care
In a world that sometimes seems unfair
Is not a weakness, but a choice
A gentle heart, a steady voice
For those who wield their words like swords
And choose to hurt with cutting cords
May never know the strength it takes
To heal, to love, to mend what breaks
Kindness is not a timid thing
It's courage wrapped in angel's wing
To stand with grace, to rise above
To meet the world with endless love
Yet kindness knows its worth and place
It doesn't linger in toxic space
For those who choose to harm and lie
Are not entitled to a gentle sigh
The kind can walk away with peace
From those who make their joy decrease
For kindness knows when to let go
And plant its seeds where love can grow
Empathy is not a chain
Nor is it bound to endless pain
It chooses wisely where to stay
And where to gently walk away
To be kind is to be strong
To know where you truly belong
To give your heart, your time, your care
To those who cherish, who are fair
The world may choose to be harsh and cold
And others may cling to ways of old
Kindness is a mighty force
A gentle, yet unwavering course
In choosing love, in choosing light
You wield a strength that's pure and bright
And those who cannot see your worth
Are not the ones to share your hearth
Stand with kindness, stand with grace
And let your heart find its own place
For in this world of dark and strife
Kindness is the light of life
