The Audacity to Be
In a world that whispers, "Stay in line,"
Where dreams are shelved, and hearts resign,
Dare to step off the beaten track,
For authenticity is what we lack
The path untrodden, the road unknown,
Is where your true self can be shown
With courage as your guiding light,
Embrace the day, embrace the night
Why settle for a life so plain,
When vibrant colors call your name?
The canvas of life is yours to paint,
With bold strokes, without restraint
The audacity to dream, to dare,
To live a life beyond compare
Is not for those who fear the fall,
But for those who hear their inner call
The world may scoff, may doubt, may sneer,
But hold your ground, for truth is near
In every step, in every choice,
Let your heart sing, let it rejoice
For what is life if not your own?
A journey where your soul has grown
To live a life that's truly free,
Is to embrace your destiny
Cast aside the chains of norm,
And let your spirit take its form
With audacity, with grace, with might,
Live your truth, and shine your light
In the end, when all is done,
You'll find the battles you have won
Were not against the world outside,
But within, where your true self resides
So, be the one who dares to see,
The beauty in the mystery
For in the audacity to be,
Lies the key to your authenticity
