The Heart of the Holidays
In the chill of winter's embrace
A warmth emerges, a gentle grace
Not found in gifts wrapped with care
But in the love we choose to share
A season of light, laughter, and song
Where hearts unite, where we belong
Beyond the glitter, beyond the show
Lies the true spirit, a gentle glow
It's in the kindness of a stranger's smile
In the extra distance walked, mile by mile
In the laughter shared with friends so dear
In the joy that wipes away each tear
The holidays call for open hearts
For the magic of giving, where it starts
Not in the grandeur, nor in the grand
But in the simple, the heartfelt, the planned
To bring joy, to spread love, to ignite light
To turn the darkest day into the brightest night
To choose laughter over sorrow's weight
To create a world where love is innate
Let us gather, let us sing
Of peace and happiness, let them ring
For in our hearts, the spirit grows
In every act of love, it shows
A world of peace, a world of grace
Where every soul finds its place
In the giving, in the heart's release
Lies the path to lasting peace
Let us choose, with open hearts
To play our genuine, loving parts
For in the spirit of the holidays, we find
A world transformed by the love we bind
