Your True North
In the quiet moments, pause and reflect
On the path you're treading, the life you elect
Are your steps aligned with the values you hold?
Or have you traded your truth for silver and gold?
Do you stand firm in the beliefs you profess?
Or have you compromised, settled for less?
The world whispers promises of wealth and might
But is being "right" truly the ultimate fight?
Is the cost of riches worth the price you pay?
If it means losing yourself along the way?
If you can't do what you love, or be with those dear
Is the pursuit of success worth the fear?
In the race for more, have you lost your way?
Do you find yourself drifting further each day?
Have you told little lies, or played deceit's game?
Is the pursuit of power worth the shame?
If misery is the fruit of your quest
Is it truly worth the unrest?
Pause and reflect on what truly matters
Beyond the noise, the clamor, the clatters
Is it the love you give, the joy you share?
Or the hollow victories that leave you bare?
In the mirror of the soul, seek your truth
Reclaim the innocence of your youth
For life is fleeting, a precious gift
Don't let it slip away, don't let it drift
Find solace in the values you hold dear
Let them guide you, let them steer
For in the end, it's not the wealth you amass
But the love you give, the moments that last
So, pause and reflect, let your heart be your guide
In the journey of life, let your soul decide
For what truly matters is not the applause
But living a life true to your cause
In the mirror of the soul, find your peace
And let your true self finally release
