Embrace Your Own Light
In the quiet moments, hear the call
To nurture yourself, stand tall
For in the dance of life, you must see
Caring for you is the key to be free
The world may whisper, "selfish," in your ear
But tending to your soul is nothing to fear
For how can you pour from an empty cup?
Fill your own well, then lift others up
In the garden of life, plant seeds of care
Water them with love, tend them with flair
Your needs are the roots, deep and strong
From which the branches of kindness grow long
The sun rises each day, a gentle reminder
To shine your light, be your own finder
Of joy, of peace, of moments that heal
For only then can you truly feel
The strength to support, the courage to give
A life of abundance, the way to live
So take a breath, and know it's true
Prioritizing you is the best thing to do
In the tapestry of life, weave your own thread
With colors of self-love, vibrant and red
For when you honor your heart's gentle plea
You create a world where all can be free
Let go of guilt, let go of doubt
Embrace the journey, let your spirit shout
For in caring for you, you find the way
To brighten the lives of others each day
Stand in your power, let your heart sing
For prioritizing you is a beautiful thing
In the circle of life, you are the start
Nurture yourself, and play your part
