Self-Fulfilling Prophecies

In shadows cast by thoughts so deep

Where whispered fears and secrets creep

We hold to truths we think we know

And let them shape the seeds we sow

Beliefs we clutch with iron grip

Guide every step, each word, each slip

A prophecy we write ourselves

From dusty books on ancient shelves

We see the world through tinted glass

A filter from our troubled past

Each action, choice, and path we take

Is molded by the truths we make

Yet in the heart, a spark remains

A whisper breaking mental chains

A chance to see beyond the veil

To rewrite stories, lift the pale

For truths are but a fleeting breeze

That shift and change with greater ease

When courage lights the darkest night

And opens eyes to broader sight

So question all you think you know

And let your inner wisdom grow

For in the quest to seek what's true

You'll find the strength to start anew

Embrace the unknown, let it guide

With open heart and arms spread wide

For in the dance of life's great scheme

Perceived truths fade, and we redeem
