The Courageous Call
In silence, shadows stretch and grow
A quiet storm, a brewing woe
The heart knows when it's been wronged
A song unsung, a bell un-gonged
Yet fear can bind the strongest will
A voice suppressed, a soul kept still
But deep within, the truth ignites
A spark that yearns for open sights
Why let injustice steal your light?
Why let the wrongs remain in night?
The power lies within your voice
To speak, to stand, to make a choice
The world may try to hush your call
But courage rises, standing tall
For every word you dare to say
Is a step towards a brighter day
The truth, a river, flows so free
Unleashing strength, a roaring sea
No longer bound by chains of doubt
Your voice, a beacon, calling out
Injustice quakes beneath your gaze
As you step forth, your spirit ablaze
The wrongs of past begin to fade
As you embrace the truth you've made
So speak, dear heart, let courage reign
Let not your voice be held in vain
For in your words, the world will see
The power of truth, the strength to be
Rise up, let not your spirit tire
For in your truth, you find your fire
And as you speak, the world will know
The strength within, the light you show
