Let Them Drift
In the quiet of night, thoughts take their toll
Worries and fears, they swallow you whole
Gripping tight to shadows of doubt
In the labyrinth of your mind, you wander about
But what if you let them drift away
Those worries that cloud the light of day?
Release the grip, let them float
Like leaves on a stream, in a gentle boat
In the garden of your mind, let flowers bloom
Don't let the weeds of worry consume
Nurture the seeds of hope and grace
And watch as joy takes its place
Why let the storm clouds darken your sky
When the sun is waiting to rise high?
Embrace the dawn, let go of the night
And step into the warmth of the light
In the tapestry of life, threads of worry may weave
But they don't define the pattern you conceive
Choose the colors of joy, love, and peace
And watch as your masterpiece finds release
Let them drift, those worries and fears
And embrace the beauty of the coming years
With an open heart and a mind set free
Discover the wonders of what life can be
