Precious Diamond in the Rough

There’s no one else quite like you

You’re truly one of a kind

Your passions and talents you should pursue

You really shouldn’t settle for being confined

Yes, you’re something special

Even if you can’t quite see it yet

You have your own unique sparkle

That’s something you mustn’t forget

We’ve become quite distracted in our busy, hectic lives

We’ve become too consumed to notice what it is we possess

We no longer can see the truth clearly with our eyes

Our gifts and blessings buried beneath stress

You have something special to share

Regardless of what you’ve been told

It’s important—please be aware

It’s quite the sight to behold

Maybe you feel unrefined, rough around your edges

Don’t fixate so much on outward appearance

There’s treasure hidden behind those outer hedges

That inner light is precious—you have Divine coherence

You’re a masterpiece in the making

Don’t believe you’re not enough

Divine will knows there’s no mistaking

You’re a beautiful diamond in the rough
