In the dance of life where shadows play
Be the bigger person, come what may
Rise above revenge and retribution, let kindness reign
And choose not to be ensnared by disdain
Rise above the petty, the small, the weak
With grace and strength your truth you seek
Yet hold your ground, firm and true
For no one should walk over you
In the face of anger choose the light
Let compassion guide you through the night
But remember, dear soul, your worth is grand
Stand tall with dignity, take your stand
Forgiveness is a gift, a balm for the heart
But boundaries are crucial, a vital part
Of knowing when to yield and when to fight
To protect your spirit, to hold it tight
In the garden of life let kindness bloom
But don't let weeds of disrespect consume
Your vibrant essence, your radiant glow
Let your inner strength and wisdom show
For being the bigger person is a noble art
Yet guarding your soul is a crucial part
Of living a life that's rich and free
Where respect and love are the key
So turn the other cheek with grace and ease
But never let them bring you to your knees
Stand tall, be proud, and know your worth
For you are a treasure upon this earth
In the tapestry of life weave your thread
With kindness and strength let your spirit be led
By the wisdom of knowing when to bend
And when to stand firm, until the end
In the balance of life find your way
Be the bigger person, come what may
