In shadows cast by betrayal's sting

A heart once open now takes wing

Guarded whispers, cautious and slow

Learning again which paths to follow

The world spins tales of trust and woe

In every glance a seed to sow

Yet through the haze of doubt and fear

Discernment's voice grows ever clear

A tapestry of truth and lies

Woven beneath the vast, wide skies

To see the threads that truly bind

Requires a heart both strong and kind

The scars of past, they softly speak

Of lessons learned, of strength unique

For every tear that once did fall

A beacon shines, a guiding call

In the garden of the soul's embrace

Trust blooms anew, a gentle grace

With roots that delve both deep and wide

In fertile soil where hopes reside

The heart, it learns to dance once more

To rhythms it had known before

With every step a choice to make

To trust again, to mend, not break

For in the dance of life we find

The courage to leave the past behind

To open doors once tightly sealed

And let the light of truth be revealed

Let the whispers guide your way

Through night to dawn, from dusk to day

For in the quiet you'll discern

The ones whose trust you can return

In every glance a chance to see

The souls that hold your heart's true key

With wisdom gained from trials past

You'll find the ones who'll truly last
