In the grand theater of life, we play our part
Each soul an actor, with a scripted heart
Curtains rise, and we step into the light
Performing our roles, day and night
Masks we wear, concealing our true face
In this elaborate, endless human race
Lines rehearsed, emotions feigned
In a world where authenticity is often restrained
The spotlight shines, and we take our cue
Lost in the roles we assume and pursue
Yet beneath the surface, a yearning to be
More than the characters the world wants to see
The stage is vast, with scenes ever-changing
A dance of life, constantly rearranging
But in the quiet moments, when the lights dim
We glimpse the truth, beyond the whim
The audience watches, applauding the show
Unaware of the struggles we undergo
For in this theater, we all play a role
Seeking connection, to feel whole
The world is a stage, a grand masquerade
Where dreams are woven, and illusions are made
Yet in the silence, when the curtains fall
We find ourselves, beyond it all
In the end, it's not the applause we seek
But the courage to be genuine, to speak
To shed the masks, and embrace the real
In a world where authenticity is the greatest reveal
Let us dance, and let us sing
In this theater of life, let our true selves spring
For the world is a stage, and we are the cast
But it's the moments of truth that truly last
