In the journey of life, a bus we ride
With seats to fill, and time to bide
Not every soul deserves a place
To be a common passenger in our sacred space
We open doors to those who shine
Whose presence makes our spirits climb
Yet, some may board with shadows cast
Their fleeting stay, not meant to last
Why let the unworthy take a seat
When their company leaves us incomplete?
Our energy is precious, our time a gracious gift to give
Reserve them for those who help your spirit live
The right to sit beside us here
To share in laughter, joy, and tears
Choose wisely, and let them in
Those who are worthy, let the ride begin
A friend, a love, a kindred soul
Who helps you reach your highest goal
They'll share your journey, through thick and thin
These are the ones you should let within
Let not the noise of the world decide
Who joins you on this wondrous ride
Listen to your heart, it knows the way
To find the ones who should stay
In the quiet moments, reflect and see
Who truly deserves your energy
For life's too short to waste on those
Who dim your light and steal your prose
As you travel, choose with care
The passengers who'll always be there
For in this bus of life you'll find
The ones who matter, heart and mind
